- We use a few trusted service providers to run our website, scheduling and messaging. We do not sell your personal information.
- We never share your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Questions? Call (706) 629-0749.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Anderson Heating, Air & Insulation (formerly John Anderson Service Company), 519 Pine Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 ("Anderson," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit johnandersonservice.com, contact us, request service, apply for a job or sign up for text alerts.
It covers our website and the forms, chat and text messages connected to it. It does not cover other companies' websites, even when we link to them.

- Service requests and estimates: your name, phone number and what you need help with, plus anything else you choose to include, such as your email address, city, ZIP code or the service you're interested in.
- HVAC & weather text alerts: your first name, mobile number, ZIP code, and a record of your consent (the date and time, the page you signed up on, and the consent wording you agreed to).
- Website chat: what you type in the chat and any contact details you share there.
- Job applications: your name, phone number, email address, the role you're interested in, your experience and certifications, and your message.
- Partner and referral programs: your contact details, your company, and details about projects you refer.
- Calls, emails and visits: what you tell us when you call, email or visit our office, and the details we need to do your job, such as your service address and equipment information.
Information collected automatically
- How you found us: when you send a request, we include the page you were on, the page you first landed on, the website that referred you, and any advertising campaign codes in the web address (for example UTM tags or Google and Microsoft ad click IDs). This tells us which advertising works.
- Website usage: pages you view, links and buttons you click, how far you scroll, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. See Cookies and analytics.
We don't ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information through this website. Don't send them through our forms or chat.
3. How we use your information

- To send appointment reminders, invoices, receipts and service updates.
- To send HVAC & weather text alerts, seasonal reminders, tips and offers, but only if you signed up for them (see Text messages).
- To review job applications and contact applicants.
- To understand how people use our website and which advertising brings in customers, so we can improve both.
- To keep our website and records secure, prevent spam and fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
4. Text messages (SMS)
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are shared only with the service providers that help us send our messages (see How we share it).
- Signing up: you join our HVAC & weather text alerts by checking the consent box on our website. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- What we send: recurring automated weather alerts, seasonal HVAC tips, service reminders and promotional messages from Anderson Heating, Air & Insulation.
- How often: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or call (706) 629-0749.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- If you're a customer, we may also text you about your own appointments and invoices. Those messages are part of providing our service, separate from the marketing text alerts.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these ways:
- Service providers who work for us, under their own privacy and security terms, and only to provide their service to us:
- Housecall Pro: our customer, scheduling, invoicing, website chat and text-messaging system. Website requests and text-alert signups are stored there.
- Formspree: delivers some website form submissions to us by email, including job applications.
- Vercel: hosts our website.
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity): website analytics and advertising measurement.
- Financing: if you apply for financing, you apply directly with the lender (such as GreenSky or Wisetack). The lender's own privacy policy covers that information.
- When you ask us to, for example to work with your landlord, property manager, home warranty company, or a utility or government rebate program.
- Legal reasons: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our team or others.
- If our business changes hands: as part of a sale, merger or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows how people use our site.
- Google Ads measures which ads lead to visits and requests, and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
- Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) and creates heatmaps and session replays, so we can find what's confusing or broken.
- Google Tag Manager loads these tools.
Google and Microsoft collect this information under their own privacy policies. We never send your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or messages to these analytics tools.
Our site also stores a few small settings in your browser, such as whether you've already seen or closed the text-alerts signup, so it isn't shown to you again. These settings contain no personal information and never leave your browser.
Your options:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
- Read how Microsoft uses Clarity data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
7. How long we keep it
We keep customer and service records for as long as you're a customer and as long as we need them afterward for warranties, service history, taxes and legal requirements. We keep text-alert consent records for as long as you're subscribed and for a period afterward, as proof of consent. We keep job applications for as long as needed to fill the position and consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete yours.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards: our website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to customer records is limited to our team and service providers, and we use established providers to store our data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any marketing text at any time.
- See, correct or delete your information: contact us using the details below. We'll verify your request and respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, when the law requires it.
- Cookies and analytics: see Cookies and analytics.
10. Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as our social media pages, utility and government rebate programs, manufacturers and financing lenders. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
