1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use johnandersonservice.com (the "website"), send us a request through it, use our website chat, or sign up for our text messages. The website is operated by Anderson Heating, Air & Insulation (formerly John Anderson Service Company), 519 Pine Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 ("Anderson," "we," "us").

By using the website or signing up for text messages, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the website. You can always call us instead.

2. Website information

We work to keep the website accurate and current, but its content is general information, not a quote or a promise for your home. In particular:

• Prices and fees shown on the website are general and may change. The price for your job is the one in your written estimate, proposal or invoice.
• Rebates, tax credits and utility programs are run by others (such as utilities and government agencies). Their amounts, rules, eligibility and funding can change or end at any time. We can help you apply, but we can't guarantee that you'll qualify or receive a rebate or credit.
• Financing is provided by third-party lenders, subject to their credit approval and terms.
• Energy savings, comfort and equipment performance depend on your home, equipment, weather and how the home is used. Savings figures and examples are estimates, not guarantees.
• Articles, guides and tips are for general information. They don't replace an in-person inspection by a qualified technician. Work involving gas, electricity or refrigerant should be done by a licensed professional.

3. Service requests and appointments

• Sending a website form or chat message is a request for us to contact you. It doesn't create an appointment or a contract until we confirm the details with you.
• We review requests during business hours. For an emergency, such as no heat in freezing weather, call us at (706) 629-0749. If you smell gas or suspect carbon monoxide, leave the home and call 911 or your gas utility first.
• Please give us accurate contact and service information.
• Work we perform is governed by the written estimate, proposal, invoice, maintenance plan or other agreement for that job, including its price, payment and warranty terms. If one of those documents conflicts with these website terms, that document controls for that job.

4. Text message (SMS) terms

These terms apply to the Anderson Heating, Air & Insulation HVAC & Weather Text Alerts program.

• How you join: by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box on our website. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
• To stop: reply STOP to any message. You can rejoin later by signing up again.
• For help: reply HELP, call (706) 629-0749 or email workorders@johnandersonservice.com.
• Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission to enroll it.
• Changed or gave up your number? Reply STOP before you do, or let us know, so messages don't go to someone else.
• Delivery: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Weather alerts are a courtesy. Don't rely on them for safety; follow the National Weather Service and local emergency officials.
• Privacy: we do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Customers may also receive texts about their own appointments, estimates and invoices. Those messages are part of providing our service and are separate from the marketing text alerts.

5. Using this website

Please use the website only for lawful purposes. Don't:

• send false, misleading or someone else's information through our forms or chat;
• send spam, automated submissions, or harmful code;
• try to break into, overload or interfere with the website or the systems behind it;
• copy or scrape the website's content in bulk.

6. Our content

The website's text, photos, logos (including our name and the John & Gypsy mascot), graphics and design belong to Anderson or are used with permission. You're welcome to view, share links to and print pages for personal use. Please don't copy, republish or use our content, photos or trademarks for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. Third-party links and services

The website links to and uses services from other companies, such as social media sites, utilities and rebate programs, equipment manufacturers, financing lenders, and our scheduling and chat provider. We don't control those companies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. A link isn't an endorsement of everything on the other site.

8. Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the website itself, express or implied, including that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components. This section is about the website only. It doesn't change any warranty that comes with work we perform or equipment we install; those warranties are in your job documents and the manufacturer's terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Anderson is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or its content, or from text messages that are delayed or not delivered. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law, or our responsibilities under a written agreement for work we perform.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If a dispute about the website can't be resolved informally, it will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Gordon County, Georgia, unless the law requires otherwise. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Using the website or staying subscribed to text messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.
